Well, it's past that time of year, so that means this announcement is long overdue. Carlton and King's annual Kevn show is back on tap. This year, it's a little different. We're opening the doors to everyone via this public announcement. In the words of Chip Monck from back in 1969:
"It's a free concert. That doesn't mean that anything goes.... The one major thing you have to remember...is that the man next to you is your brother, and you'd damn well better treat each other that way because if you don't, then we blow the whole thing, but we've got it right there."
Want to be a rowdy, drunk, pugilistic, or disruptive? Please stay home. Want to hear "Straight to Hell"? Please stay home. Don't make King videotape Carlton strong-arming you out of the venue!
If you've seen the DVDs of our previous private shows or heard Carlton's recordings, you know how special these performances turn out. Please help us ensure a respectful and appreciative audience!
As always, there will be a guest list, so YOU MUST E-MAIL kevn_rocks@yahoo.com (Carlton) TO GET ADDED TO THE GUEST LIST. You must provide your name and the number in your party (or the names in everyone in your party, if you'll be arriving separately). This will be a seated show. The general info is as follows:
Kevn Kinney Fan Show
opening act: Tommy Womack
Saturday, January 30, 2010
Chattanooga, Tennessee
starts at 6pm
Specific venue details will be sent to you once you're added to the guest list. Please don't leak the venue, as that's really how we're handling crowd control.
We're looking forward to seeing you!
