KK Hoorn (February 27, 2010) DVD available

Alrighty, now we're starting to get back on track. Hoorn: the most beautiful city of the tour, hands down. Plus, Kevn and friends welcome Tim Knoll to join in for the end of the set. The folks at the venue (especially Peter) were super-nice and even let us attach our audience mic to their 200+ year old chandelier (although there were uncertain and tense moments from everyone involved). As a result, this is probably the best-sounding of all the Netherlands shows we recorded.

Juno Smile gets a longer opening slot and treat us to a lovely cover (anyone catch the hitch in that statement?) Aaron is wonderful as usual.

Also notice that there was no green room, so when Kevn and Co. "leave" the stage before the encore, they just walk to the right rear corner of the stage and drink up!

This is the same offer as always: send your request (please note the title you want--this is the "Hoorn" show) and the address where you'd like the disc sent (please split your address into multiple lines for readability) to me (king@drivinncryin.com), and your disc should be sent out shortly. All DVDs are NTSC, region 0, and not copy-protected. International requests are gladly accepted, but spelling and clear formatting really help! As always, the complete list of discs we distribute is

You are so very nice to explain this to me beforehand because you KNOW I would have asked. :)

WOW! The Ballad Of Hollis Brown AND Iron Mountain?!!! I am so very jealous of everyone in attendance at this show! At least it lives forever on DVD. Playing Hollis Brown now has me curious...I wonder if there has ever been a show in which Kevn did nothing but Bob Dylan cover songs. :?: :?: :?:
There's always a chance to get restarted....to a new world, new life....scarred but smarter.

I was very pleased that Tim Knoll drove the set list for the last 4 songs. Looked like Kevn didn't want to do STAR, but Tim just kept asking. And "A Good Country Mile" is always welcome in the set, as far as I'm concerned.
